Wesley Gillenwaters

Wesley was born on August 25th, 1822 in , Hawkins, Tennessee.  Wesley's father was Thomas Gillenwaters and his mother was Eleanor Carmack.  His paternal grandparents were Joel Gillenwaters and Sally Or Loretta Gibbons; his maternal grandparents were Cornelius Carmack and Mary Cookson. He had four brothers and three sisters, and also a sibling of unknown gender, named John, Joel Carmack, James, Isaac Shelby, Minerva, Eleanor, Mary C. and Missouri G..  He was the fourth youngest of the nine children. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Thomas B. and Martha.  He died at the age of 34 in 1856.
