David Garrison 
David was born about 1788 in , Surry, N.C.. David's father was Isaac Garrison and his mother was Martha. His paternal grandparents were Isaac Garrison and Elizabeth Lawrence. He had three brothers named Joseph, William J. and James C.. He was the second oldest of the four children. He had two half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Isaac, John, Sarah and Mary.
