Elizabeth was born on November 17th, 1763 in West Virginia. Elizabeth's father was Henry Fravel and her mother was Anna Keller. Her paternal grandfather was Isaac Fravel; her maternal grandparents were George Keller and Barbara Anna Hottel. She had six brothers and five sisters, named Jacob, George, Henry, Joseph, Benjamin, Jonathan, Barbara, Anna, Margaret, Rebecca and Mary. She was the sixth oldest of the twelve children.-
