Oscar Fickle 
Oscar was born in 1852 in Sullivan County, Tennessee. Oscar's father was Robert Preston Fickle and his mother was Elizabeth Chamberlain. His paternal grandparents were Abraham Fickle and Margaret Rhea. He had four brothers and four sisters, named John Preston, Lincoln Rhea, Samuel Bruce, Robert Lee, Margaret Laura, Mary Frances, Jane Preston and Anna May. He was the oldest of the nine children.-
