Peter Ferris 
Peter was born in 1836 in Of, Hawkins, Tennessee. Peter's father was Peter Ferris and his mother was Anna. His paternal grandfather was Ferris. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Joseph B., Elijah D., Lydia, Vera and Elizabeth. He was the third youngest of the six children.
