Joseph Eidson 
Joseph was born in 1870 in , Hawkins, Tennessee. Joseph's father was Jacob B. Eidson and his mother was Matilda. His paternal grandparents were Eidson and Sophia. He had five brothers named Thomas, Gaines, George, James and Silas. He was the second oldest of the six children.
