John Bell Dykes

John Bell was born in 1860 in , Hawkins, Tennessee.  John Bell's father was Thomas Dykes and his mother was Rebecca A..  His paternal grandparents were William Dykes and Annis. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Henry A., Wesley F., Spencer, James T., Sarah E., Adria Jane and Laura.  He was the oldest of the eight children.
