John D. Droke

John D. was born on June 4th, 1775 in Virginia.  John D.'s father was Jacob Droke and his mother was Magdalena Shyra.  His paternal grandfather was Johan Peter Druck. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Peter, Gabriel, Jacob, Daniel, David, Elizabeth, Catherine and Ann.  He was the fourth youngest of the nine children.  He died at the age of 87 on March 24th, 1863 in Benton County, Arkansas.
