Newitt Drew 
Newitt was born before 1757 in , Halifax, N.C.. Newitt's father was Thomas Drew. His paternal grandparents were Edward Drew and Frances Newitt. He had three brothers named Jesse, John and Thomas. He was the second youngest of the four children. Newitt is no longer alive.-
