George was born in 1747 in Of Rutherford County, NC. George's father was James Dickey and his mother was Catherine Huett. His paternal grandfather was George Dickey; his maternal grandfather was Anthony Huett. He was an only child. He died at the age of 33 on May 2nd, 1780 in Rutherford County, NC.
