Raymond's father was Gentilis II Des Ursins Senator Of Rome and his mother was Claricia Di Ruffo. His paternal grandparents were Berthold Des Ursins Senator Of Rome and Filippa; his maternal grandparents were Pietro II Di Ruffo Count Catanzario and Joana De Aquina. He was an only child. He died in 1336.
