James Denton 
James was born in 1790 in New York. James' father was James Denton and his mother was Deborah Gerow. His paternal grandparents were Daniel Denton and Martha Purdy; his maternal grandparents were Daniel Giraud and Elizabeth Coutant. He had a brother named David. He was the younger of the two children. He died at the age of 60 in 1850.-
