Samuel Houston Curry 
Samuel Houston's father was Samuel Curry and his mother was Jane Gray. His maternal grandparents were William Gray and Margaret Christian. He had five brothers and four sisters, named William Thomas, Charles, Francis Marion, George Rutledge, Schuyler, Cora, Elizabeth Ann, Lucinda Gray and Martha Jane. He had a half-brother and three half-sisters, named Henry Allen, Alice, Ida and Minerva Nevada.-
