Eugene David Cross 
Eugene David was born in March 1887 in Sullivan County, Tennessee. Eugene David's father was Hugh H. Cross and his mother was Jerusha Jones. His paternal grandparents were William A. Cross and Martha Devault; his maternal grandparents were William Jones and Martha Latture. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Braxton Whitfield, Hugh H., Bertie, Effie Margaret and Martha Pearl. He died at the age of 91 in 1978.-
