Charles Cox 
Charles was born about 1857 in Of, Hawkins, Tennessee. Charles' father was Charles R. Cox and his mother was Elizabeth Cochran. His paternal grandparents were Samuel Cox and Barbara Hammond. He had two brothers and a sister, named John Henry, Isaac E. and Mary A.. He was the oldest of the four children.
