Tempe Cope

Tempe was born about 1824 in Of, Hawkins, Tennessee.  Tempe's father was James Cope and her mother was Elizabeth.  Her paternal grandfather was Cope. She had four brothers and three sisters, named Andrew, John, William, Micajah, Elizabeth, Susan and Marietta.  She was the youngest of the eight children.
