Robert's father was Robert Constable Sheriff Of York and his mother was Agnes Gascoigne. His paternal grandparents were Marmaduke Constable and Catherine Cumberworth; his maternal grandparents were William Gascoigne Chief Justice and Elizabeth Mowbray. He was an only child. He died on May 3rd, 1488 in Fkamborough, York, England.
