Lucretia E. was born on February 8th, 1860 in , Bourbon, Kentucky. Lucretia E.'s father was Benjamin Franklin Collins and her mother was Sarah Or Sallie Turney. Her maternal grandparents were Peter Turney and Judith Collins. She had four brothers and three sisters, named Peter Turney, Crittenden Taylor, William F., George F., Lucinda J., Judith A. and Fannie L.. She was the second youngest of the eight children. She died at the age of 19 on May 26th, 1879.-
