John Coffield 
John was born in 1669 in Nansemond County, Virginia. John's father was Gresham Coffield Jr.. His paternal grandfather was Gresham Coffield. He had three brothers named James, Gresham and William. He was the second youngest of the four children. He died before 1704 in Nansemond County, Virginia.
