Sidney Payne Clay 
Sidney Payne was born on July 16th, 1800 in , Bourbon, Kentucky. Sidney Payne's father was Green Clay and his mother was Sarah Or Sally Lewis. His paternal grandparents were Charles Clay and Martha Green; his maternal grandparents were Thomas Lewis and Elizabeth Payne. He had two brothers and five sisters, named Brutus Junius, Cassius Marcellus, Elizabeth Lewis, Sarah Ann, Pauline Green, Sophia and Sarah Or Sallie Ann. He was the third oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 31 on November 12th, 1831 in Lexington, Fayette, Kentucky.-
