Lydia Frances was born on April 23rd, 1855 in , , Virginia. Lydia Frances' father was Jacob Leander Clamons and her mother was Rebecca Barker. Her paternal grandparents were Jacob Clayman and Mary; her maternal grandparents were Joseph Barker and Ellender Vicars. She had four brothers and two sisters, named Joel L., Lewis S., William Columbus, James A. C., Mary Ellen and Sarah M.. She was the third oldest of the seven children. She died at the age of 71 on April 26th, 1926.-
