Gi-Yo-Sti Cherokee Nation

Gi-Yo-Sti was born about 1770 in Cherokee Nation, Tennessee.  Gi-Yo-Sti's father was Tah Chee Cherokee Nation and his mother was Ailsey.  His paternal grandparents were Attakullakulla Cherokee Nation and Nionee Ollie Cherokee Nation. He had two brothers and a sister, named Oo-Loo-Tsa, Nettle Carrier and Ailsey.  He was the second oldest of the four children.
