James C. Cheatham

James C. was born in 1844 in Of, Hawkins, Tennessee.  James C.'s father was John A. Cheatham and his mother was Martha Or Patsy. He had four brothers and four sisters, named John, Andrew, William, Richard, Elizabeth, Sarah F., Mary E. and Matilda A..  He was the third oldest of the nine children. He had a half-brother and three half-sisters, named William H., Martha A., Minnie and Florence.
