William Cato

William was born in 1849. William's father was Philip Washington Cato and his mother was Malinda Hancock. His paternal grandparents were Stephen Francis Cato and Elizabeth. He had three brothers and six sisters, named Hartwell Jackson, Robb Benot, Jacob, Lavina, Beeda, Amanda, Mary, Mollie and Caroline. He was the oldest of the ten children.
