Sterling Cato 
Sterling was born about 1755 in , , Virginia. Sterling's father was John Cato and his mother was Jane Cooke. His paternal grandparents were George Cato Or Catour and Mary Poole; his maternal grandparents were Henry Cooke and Mary Clarke. He had six brothers and a sister, named Daniel, Burwell, John, George, Henry, William and Mary. He was the second youngest of the eight children. He died in 1805.-
