William Carter 
William was born in 1777 in Farquier County, Virginia. William's father was Norris Carter and his mother was Agnes Allen. His paternal grandparents were Peter C. Carter and Judith Norris. He had five brothers and four sisters, named Charles Burr, Dale, Henry, John, Peter, Elizabeth, Judith, Lucy and Molly. He died at the age of 76 on December 20th, 1853 in Scott County, Virginia.-
