William Brown 
William was born about 1708 in Chowan County, NC. William's father was Thomas Brown and his mother was Christian Maule. His paternal grandparents were John Browne and Mary Boddie. He had five brothers and a sister, named John, Thomas, Edward, Howell, James and Sarah. He died in 1799 in , Martin, NC.
