Rufus William Breeding

Rufus William was born in 1861 in Of Sullivan County, Tennessee.  Rufus William's father was Andrew Jackson Breeding and his mother was Cassandra Matilda Hurst.  His paternal grandparents were William Breeding and Charity Fugate; his maternal grandparents were Samuel Hurst and Lucinda H.. He had six brothers and four sisters, named Albert Grayson, Floyd W., Sidney H., James Kemper, Robert Withers, Irby Jackson, Mary E., Laura W., Margaret H. W. and Sarah Ann.  He was the fourth oldest of the eleven children.  He died at the age of 71 in 1932.
