Martha Amanda Bowery

Martha Amanda was born on August 13th, 1869 in Tennessee.  Martha Amanda's father was Samuel Bowery and her mother was Frances Rhea Rogers.  Her paternal grandparents were Conrad Russell Bowery and Sarah Shipley; her maternal grandparents were David Rogers and Lydia Sampson. She had seven brothers and a sister, named George James, John B., David Conrad, Thomas A., William, Samuel Miller, Wesley D. and Emeline.  She was the fifth oldest of the nine children.
