Ann's father was Benjamin Blunt and her mother was Priscilla Person. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Blunt and Priscilla Browne; her maternal grandparents were John Person III and Priscilla Cockerham. She had three brothers and four sisters, named William, Benjamin, John, Mary, Elizabeth, Priscilla and Sarah.-
