Elizabeth's father was Thomas Blunt and her mother was Anne Gray. Her paternal grandparents were Henry Blunt and Sarah; her maternal grandfather was Joseph Gray. She had five brothers and a sister, named Edward, Henry, James, Joseph Gray, William and Anne.
