Jacob Blessing 
Jacob was born about 1794 in Shenandoah County, Virginia. Jacob's father was Lewis Blessing and his mother was Mary Elizabeth Bartsherrer. His paternal grandparents were Jacob Blessing and Elizabeth Ritschart. He had two brothers and two sisters, named John, Abraham, Mary and Elizabeth. He was the second oldest of the five children. He died on December 2nd, 1864.-
