George Washington Blessing 
George Washington was born on March 4th, 1849 in Washington County, Virginia. George Washington's father was Solomon Blessing and his mother was Mary Anderson. His paternal grandparents were Jacob Blessing and Elizabeth Messersmith. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Samuel, John A., James A., Jacob Rector, Elizabeth, Catherine E., Sarah and Ann E.. He was the youngest of the nine children. He had two half-sisters named Mary and Armetta.-
