Roger was born about 1594. Roger's father was Richard Billing and his mother was Elizabeth Strong. His paternal grandparents were Roger Billing and Katherine; his maternal grandfather was Ebenezer Strong. He had three brothers and a sister, named Richard, Ebenezer, William and Elizabeth. He was the third oldest of the five children.-
