William Bentley 
William was born in 1873 in , Hawkins, Tennessee. William's father was John B. Bentley and his mother was Amanda M. Price. His paternal grandparents were William Bentley and Anna Wells. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Robert, Isham, Lucy and Catherine. He was the second oldest of the five children.
