George James Barger

George James was born on July 21st, 1867 in Sullivan County, Tennessee.  George James' father was George Washington Barger and his mother was Amanda Roller.  His paternal grandparents were John Barger and Anna Hickman; his maternal grandparents were George Roller II and Elizabeth Hughes. He had six brothers named John Thomas, Jacob W., William D., Samuel E., David A. and Charles H..  He was the oldest of the seven children. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Richard Lee and Cordia.  He died at the age of 57 on November 23rd, 1924.
