John Bailey 
John was born in 1856 in , Hawkins, Tennessee. John's father was Lewis Bailey and his mother was Lucretia Patterson. His paternal grandparents were Bailey and Mary. He had a brother and six sisters, named Noah, Elizabeth, Jane, Mary, Ellen P., Sarah and Martha. He was the third youngest of the eight children.
