Moses Akard 
Moses was born in 1826 in Sullivan County, Tennessee. Moses' father was Adam Akard and his mother was Elizabeth Wassom. His paternal grandparents were Jacob Aeckard and Susanna Margaretha Latture; his maternal grandparents were John Wassom and Elizabeth Sells. He had three brothers named John, David and James. He died at the age of 18 in 1844.-
