Mercy was born about 1792 in Buckingham Twp, Bucks Co., PA. Mercy 's father was John TOMLINSON and her mother was Cynthia DOAN. Her maternal grandparents were Benjamin DOANE and Jemima HESTON. She had three brothers and two sisters, named Amos, John , Joseph , Mary and Cynthia. She was the second youngest of the six children.-
