Tarleton was born on November 19th, 1754 in Caroline Co., VA . Tarleton's father was Henry TERRELL and his mother was Sarah WOODSON . His paternal grandparents were William TERRELL and Martha Susannah WATERS. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Charles, George , Ursula, Judith and Abigail . He was the youngest of the six children. He had two half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Henry II , Thomas , Elizabeth "Betty" and Anne .General Notes
