Abraham STILL 
Abraham was born on August 25th, 1796 in Buncombe Co, NC . Abraham 's father was Boaz STILL and his mother was Mary LYDA . His paternal grandparents were Samuel STILL and Agnes BOAZ ; his maternal grandparents were Andrew LYDA and Mary DAVIS. He had six brothers and six sisters, named Isaac, James , Henry , Andrew, Elijah , Thomas, Eave Lyda, Cynthia , Elizabeth , Sarah , Cynthia and Keziah. He was the seventh oldest of the thirteen children. He died at the age of 71 on December 31st, 1867 in Centrepolis, , KS .General Notes

Abram Still (1796-1867) was born in America to Boaz Still, a Scotch-Irish frontiersman, and Mary Lyda Still, of Dutch descent. Andrew’s mother Martha Poague Moore Still (1800-1888) was born in America to James Moore IV and Barbara Taylor, and was of Scotch-Irish and German stock.
1836:
The Rev. Still requests a transfer from Tennessee to Missouri. The Still family treks over 700 miles from eastern Tennessee through Kentucky across the Ohio River through the southern tip of Illinois, northwest to St. Louis, then crossing the Mississippi River traveling to north central Missouri in Macon County. The Still family leaves Tennessee traveling 7 weeks overland with 6 children (the youngest being less than one year old) in two covered wagons and six horses.
