His paternal grandparents were AMON SIZEMORE and Nancy BACKHOUSE; his maternal grandparents were Zackariah T. HOLCOMB and Eunice NEIL. He had three brothers and a sister, named Lambert Luther , Grant , Moses and Mary . He was the oldest of the five children.-
