Ruth was born on April 10th, 1754 in Augusta Co., VA . Ruth 's father was John MARSHALL and her mother was Ruth HADLEY . Her maternal grandparents were Joshua HADLEY and Mary ROWLAND. She had seven brothers and three sisters, named Jacob , William , John , Benjamin , Joseph , Isaac , Abram, Ann, Sarah and Hannah . She was the fourth oldest of the eleven children.-
