  Listed on Choctaw Muster rolls as leaving Mississippi, but no data of arrival there. It is believed that he went to Texas with William McCoy, David McCoy and William Thompson or died along the way as he was of considerable advanced age. Some accounts of family state Archibald Thompson and his brother Henry Thompson was with them initially. Their being in Texas may have been behind the motivation of Isteuhkatubby, representing the Chickasaws, in signing the Treaty at Birds Fort (TX) in 1843, at the urging of Judge James McCoy.   He was most likely a full blood Choctaw. He was believed to have been killed by whites in an attack on the Choctaws in 1840 in what is now Trinity or Houston Couty, Texas.*
