Indiana HICKS 
Indiana was born in 1844 in NC. Indiana's father was Edwin Wesley "Elsy" Hicks and her mother was Elizabeth Henry DUKE. Her paternal grandparents were William Foster HICKS and Betsy CRUTCHFIELD; her maternal grandparents were Green B. DUKE and Rebecca ROBERTSON. She had eight brothers and three sisters, named Leonidus G. , William H. , John W. , George M. , A. M. , Charles, Thomas C. , Samuel M. , Martha E. , Winiford and Lucie L. . She was the fourth oldest of the twelve children.-
