Hiram Mahlon was born on February 18th, 1842 in Fayette Co., GA. Hiram Mahlon 's father was Isham HICKS and his mother was Ellender WHITE . His paternal grandparents were William Foster HICKS and Betsy CRUTCHFIELD. He had two brothers and six sisters, named Adam , James W. , Ellender Frances , Martha Ann, Emily , Amanda M., Susan and Hetty (Letty) Perdue . He was the second youngest of the nine children. He died at the age of 71 in June 1913 in Haralson Co., GA .General Notes
