Fred (twin) was born on September 7th, 1883 in Monroe Co., IN. Fred (twin)'s father was Allison Monroe "Allen" HICKS and his mother was Mary Ann "May" OLIVER. His paternal grandparents were David HICKS and Jane T . STALEY ; his maternal grandparents were Elbert Wells OLIVER and Louisa E. McKINLEY. He had five brothers and five sisters, named Oscar, William Albert, John Quincy (Sr), Edward Byron (twin), Leroy, Louella, Jennie May, Ada Marie, Margaret Mildred and Baby Girl. He was the sixth oldest of the eleven children. He died in 1883 in Monroe Co., IN.General Notes
