Francis Smith  HANSHAW

Francis Smith  was born in 1864 in Clay Co., WV .  Francis Smith 's father was John Jackson  HANSHAW and his mother was Sarah Jane  GROSE.  His paternal grandparents were Farncis  HANSHAW and Mary Ann  ORBION. He had two brothers and two sisters, named William Ward , Jacob Henry , Mary C.  and Almira Jane .  He was the second youngest of the five children. He had five half-brothers and four half-sisters, named Pizarro Napoleon, Corn Wallace , Andrew Jackson , Van J, Grover Cleveland, Hannah Albina , Sara A. , Lillie M and Rose "Rosie" .
