Her paternal grandparents were Andrew Pendleton FRIEND and Elizabeth HARRIS. She had four brothers and four sisters, named James M , Andrew Jackson, William Willis , Marion , Mary Louisa, Mary Louisa , Harriet and Melsina . She was the fourth oldest of the nine children.-
