Ruth was born about 1685 in Eastham Cape Cod, Barnstable Co., MA. Ruth 's father was Daniel DOANE and her mother was Constance SNOW . Her paternal grandparents were John DONE~DOANE and Anne UNKNOWN; her maternal grandparents were Nicholas SNOW and Constance (Constanta) HOPKINS. She had three brothers and three sisters, and also a sibling of unknown gender, named Daniel , Joseph, Nathaniel , Constant, Rebecca, Abigail and Infant. She was the youngest of the eight children. She had a half-sister named Hepzibah .-
